An applicant may be at any stage of his/her career development, but must hold a faculty appointment at a Canadian medical school.
Each grant is payable to the recipient’s hospital or research institute up to the maximum amount listed below. It is for a one-year term, dispersed in two equal installments from the Canadian Anesthesia Research Foundation (CARF).
CAS Research Award in Neuroanesthesia in memory of Adrienne Cheng – up to $10,000
This award is for projects in neuroanesthesia and/or neurocritical care. The Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society gratefully acknowledges the support of Medtronic.
Dr Earl Wynands Research Award in Cardiovascular Anesthesia – up to $30,000
This award is for projects related to cardiovascular and/or thoracic anesthesia. The Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society gratefully acknowledges the support of Medtronic.
